  20. I called them on the phone yesterday, and was told that

  22.     1) To upgrade a Power 28.8 to 33.6, I had to send the modem
  23.        back, and pay a $99 charge.

  25.     2) The resulting modem is not the same as a Premier 33.6. It
  26.        lacks a few of the features.

  28.     3) There is no way to purchase a 33.6 Power modem - I have to
  29.        buy a 28.8 version, then send it back for a $99 upgrade.

  31.     4) The Premier external is shipping, but the internal version
  32.        is not.

  34. Of course, I've heard rumors elsewhere that the Powers will be upgradeable to
  35. 33.6 via a flash ROM upgrade in 6 months or so.
